The Cloudmonster 2 uses On’s largest CloudTec elements. That is the cushion under every landing: soft, with a bounce that is still there after the easy miles.

A two-layer Helion superfoam midsole absorbs impact and returns energy, so the shoe stays comfortable without going mushy. The Cloudmonster 2 is a more cushioned update to the original, about 25 grams heavier, with a taller stack.

A nylon-blend Speedboard shapes the toe-off and adds propulsion. You get a smooth forward roll without the stiff snap of a race-day carbon plate.

The shape encourages a natural heel-to-toe transition. The rocker and Speedboard work together so the ride stays rolling instead of flat.

An engineered mesh upper vents on warmer miles, and a secure midfoot wrap keeps the shoe from slopping around late in the run. Most runners find it true to size, with a toe box that can feel a little roomy.
